localrepo: cleanup var names and comments
Cosmetic cleanups. Fix comment typo referring to the notion of multiple tips.
Make variable describing a generator end in 'gen'.
Fix another var containing a node not to end with 'rev'.

$ make # see install targets

Running without installing:
$ make local # build for inplace usage
$ ./hg --version # should show the latest version
